Victor Free Library first opened it's doors in 1938 in the Higinbotham House on Maple Avenue. The library began with 912 books. In 1942, the library relocated to Main Street, sharing the space with the bank. In 1957, the library purchased the old trolley station on Maple Avenue, which served the library's needs for 40 years. In 1996, the Victor Free Library, with generous support of the community, built it's present location at 15 W. Main Street. Today the library maintains a collection of more that 36,000 volumes.
