This sculpture is one of many works featured in the Western Washington University's Outdoor Sculpture collection. This work rises in a courtyard next to the WWU Performing Arts Hall. On the northern portion of campus, the scupture is perched near one of the finest views available of the Greater Bellingham region and further north into the San Juan Islands and Canada.
It is rumored that the original design of the sculpture featured a swinging platform upon which people could "ride". It became a liability and was eventually removed.
