[SV] Bleckslageri var från ca 1860 fram till 1950-talet en viktig försörjningskälla i ulricehamnsbygden.
En kategori gårdsfarihandlare var bleckknallarna som cyklade runt i bygderna och hade med sig varor som de erbjöd folket.
En bleckslagare producerade detaljer av tunn förtennad järnplåt.
Skulpturen som finns i Ulricehamn heter ”Bleck-knallen” och placerades på platsen 1999.
Den invigdes av landshövding Göte Bernhardsson. Ulricehamns Sparbank hjälpte till att finansiera arbetet som utfördes av skulptören Wanja ”Nones” Håkansson.
[EN] Tinsmithing was an important source of income in the Ulricehamn area from about 1860 until the 1950s.
A category of farm traders were the tinsmiths who cycled around the villages and brought goods with them that they offered to the people.
A tinsmith produced details from thin tinned iron sheets.
The sculpture in Ulricehamn is called “Bleck-knallen” and was placed on the site in 1999.
It was inaugurated by County Governor Göte Bernhardsson. Ulricehamns Sparbank helped finance the work carried out by sculptor Wanja “Nones” Håkansson.
