At the entrance to the larger island of Nahant, Massachusetts from the causeway, across from the Nahant Lifesaving Station, stands this memorial to the men and women of Nahant who have served in the armed forces. The memorial consists of a stone marker, a semicircle of flags for the branches of the military, and several benches with individual dedications.

Description of Memorial: The memorial stands in a landscaped park. Being on a former island, you can sense the breeze and sea air coming in. Across the street is a former Coast Guard building. Nahant was home to several US Army installations during WWI and WWII, and amazingly, large structures still remain.
