The Emma Carlin Trailhead features a large parking lot (note - you must pay to park here) and access to a network of trails to the west. Some of the trails are designated for hikers only and others for bikers only. The entry to the Ice Age Trail is just northwest of trailhead parking; there is a large sign there. Information kiosks on the west edge of the parking lot provide trail maps and other information.
