Estatua orante, barroca y pétrea, fue esculpida en granito en 1674 por Mateo de Prado, uno de los escultores más importantes del momento.
Es un sepulcro bajo arco de medio punto, estatua orante con figura de un caballero con espada y Cruz de Santiago en el pecho.
Don Antón era sobrino del Arzobispo y Patrocinador de la Obra Pía, fue Sargento Mayor del ejército de Filipinas, Caballero de la Orden de Santiago y Alguacil Mayor de la Inquisición.

This Baroque stone praying statue was sculpted in granite in 1674 by Mateo de Prado, one of the most important sculptors of the time.
It is a tomb under a semicircular arch, a praying statue with the figure of a knight with a sword and the Cross of Santiago on his chest.
Don Antón was the nephew of the Archbishop and patron of the Pious Work. He was a Sergeant Major in the Philippine Army, a Knight of the Order of Santiago, and Chief Constable of the Inquisition.
