Oslo Airport is located at Gardermoen, 47 kilometres (29 miles) north of Oslo's city centre.
Ground transportation, parking and car rental
Oslo Airport is connected to the Oslo region by the Airport Express Train (Flytoget), Vy's inter-city and local trains (formerly NSB), Flybussen Airport Express Coach and the OSL Express bus. Taxis, shuttles and limousine services are also available.
OSL has two parking garages and six outdoor parking areas with a total of 20,000 parking spaces open 24/7. The parking garages and outdoor parking area P1 are within walking distance of the terminal, and there are free shuttle buses between the terminal and the other parking areas. You can order parking at OSL's website.
The car rental companies Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt have desks in the arrivals area, near the railway station. You can book your car in advance online.
Shopping and dining
The airport has more than 30 cafés and restaurants and more than 20 shops, including some of the world's largest duty-free shops. The tax refund offices of Global Blue and Tax Free Worldwide are located in the departures hall.
Information and Wi-Fi
The information desk in the arrivals hall offers passenger services and tourist information for the local area. Free wireless internet is available for two hours to all travellers. The airport also has computer stations with internet access."
