The North Arm Cove Community Centre (NAC Community Centre) plays a pivotal role as the social and recreational heart of the North Arm Cove village and surrounding area on Worimi Country. First established in 1996 and administered by the North Arm Cove Community Association Inc., the centre has evolved into a versatile facility. It encompasses a community hall with a capacity of 100 people, a sizeable kitchen, a community library, and an exhibition/display space. Notably, a rescue helipad is located adjacent to the building, highlighting its importance to the wider community.
Plaques on the building offer insights into its history and community spirit. One plaque notes that the building was relocated to this site in January 1995 from Raymond Terrace, then assembled and maintained by numerous local families. It stands as a testament to the dedication of these past and present residents and expresses appreciation to the current volunteers who continue to enable the whole community to enjoy its facilities.
An attached building is the North Arm Cove Arts & Cultural Annexe, built by the community for the community and officially opened on June 21, 2008, by the Mayor of Great Lakes Council. This annexe further enhances the centre's capacity to host a wide range of community and social activities, making it an ideal facility and location for everyone in the area to utilise.
