"Klaus Gerhard Hannes Mühlsiegl (* 11. April 1938 im böhmischen Komotau; † 30. November 2010) war ein österreichischer Tanzlehrer.
Biographie
Mühlsiegel wurde in Böhmen geboren. Nach der Vertreibung war er ab
1946 zehn Jahre bei den Wiener Sängerknaben, anschließend erlernte er den
Beruf eines Juweliers, Gold- und Silberschmiedes. 1968 übernahm er die
elterliche Tanzschule. Anfang der 1980er Jahre übernahm er die Choreographie
der Eröffnung des Wiener Opernballs und ab 2002 auch die des
Concordia-Balls.
Mühlsiegl war über 38 Jahre lang Lehrer und Prüfer der Fachschule des
Verbandes Wiener Tanzlehrer. Weiters war er über drei Jahrzehnte
Präsidialmitglied des Österreichischen Tanzlehrerverbandes.
Elterlicher Betrieb
Die Tanzschule wurde 1895 von Mühlsiegls Großvater Paul Anton Mühlsiegl in
Komotau gegründet. Sein Vater Paul Eduard Mühlsiegl († 1975) führte diese
mit seiner Gattin Lucie, geborene Mader aus Wien, weiter. Nach der
Vertreibung gründet Paul Mühlsiegl mit der Gattin 1955 in der Schönbrunner
Straße 249 in Wien-Meidling die Tanzschule „Mühlsiegl“ neu.
Seine letzte Ruhestätte befindet sich auf dem Liesinger Friedhof (Gr. 82,
Nr. 7) in Wien.

November 30, 2010) was an Austrian dance teacher.
Biography
Mühlsiegel was born in Bohemia. After his expulsion, he spent ten years with
the Vienna Boys' Choir from 1946, after which he trained as a jeweler,
goldsmith and silversmith. In 1968, he took over his parents' dance school.
In the early 1980s, he took over the choreography for the opening of the
Vienna Opera Ball and, from 2002, also for the Concordia Ball.
Mühlsiegl was a teacher and examiner at the technical school of the
Vienna Dance Teachers' Association for over 38 years. He was also a
presidential member of the Austrian Dance Teachers' Association for over
three decades.
Parental business
The dance school was founded by Mühlsiegl's grandfather Paul Anton Mühlsiegl in
Komotau in 1895. His father Paul Eduard Mühlsiegl († 1975) continued to run it
with his wife Lucie, née Mader from Vienna. After the expulsion, Paul Mühlsiegl
and his wife re-established the “Mühlsiegl” dance school at Schönbrunner Straße
249 in Vienna-Meidling in 1955.
His final resting place is in the Liesing cemetery (Gr. 82, No. 7) in
Vienna.
