Molo w Plocku to stalowa promenada o dlugosci 358 metrów, biegnaca lukiem od prawobrzeznego bulwaru w glab Wisly. Ma 5,3 metra szerokosci, a na koncu rozszerza sie do 15,3 metra, gdzie znajduje sie okragla restauracja o powierzchni 173 m².

Historia i cechy

Budowa trwala od marca do grudnia 2010 roku, a oficjalne otwarcie nastapilo 25 czerwca 2011. Koszt inwestycji wyniósl okolo 17 milionów zlotych. W grudniu 2011 r. uszkodzenie pali spowodowalo zamkniecie mola, ale po naprawach ponownie otwarto je w maju 2012 r. W 2015 roku pojawilo sie w filmie Kochaj!

Konstrukcja

Molo opiera sie na 20 stalowych pylonach polaczonych ciegnami. Fundament stanowia pale wielkosrednicowe o dlugosci okolo 24 metrów. Restauracja spoczywa na 25 palach (srednica 0,8 m) z platforma z zelbetu. Nawierzchnia to drewniane belki, a calosc wyposazona jest w lawki, oswietlenie i szklane balustrady.

Wyjatkowe aspekty

Molo w Plocku to jedna z nielicznych tego typu konstrukcji w Polsce, pozwalajaca spacerowac nad rzeka i podziwiac panorame miasta. Jest chetnie odwiedzane przez turystów oraz mieszkanców.

Plock Pier

Plock Pier is a steel promenade 358 meters long, curving from the right-bank boulevard into the Vistula River. It is 5.3 meters wide, widening to 15.3 meters at the end, where a circular restaurant (173 m²) is located.

History and Features

Construction took place from March to December 2010, and the pier officially opened on June 25, 2011. The investment cost was approximately 17 million PLN. In December 2011, damage to the piles led to its closure, but after repairs, it reopened in May 2012. In 2015, it appeared in the movie Kochaj!

Structure

The pier rests on 20 steel pylons connected by tension cables. Its foundation consists of large-diameter piles about 24 meters long. The restaurant is supported by 25 piles (0.8 m in diameter) on a reinforced concrete platform. The surface is made of wooden beams, and the structure includes benches, lighting, and glass railings.

Plock Pier is one of the few structures of its kind in Poland, offering visitors a chance to walk over the river and enjoy a scenic view of the city. It is a popular spot for both tourists and locals.
