Barge Canal Lock from Oneida Street Bridge - Fulton, NY - Picture Perfect Postcards on Waymarking.com

This postcard was taken in the late 1960's from the Oneida Street bridge, looking South over the Oswego River and the lower lock of the Barge Canal. The buildings in the background on the left side of the photo have all seen their demise from urban renewal in the 1970's. The Oneida Street bridge did not have the high chain link fence back when the photo was taken for the postcard. However, the lock itself hasn't changed too much over the last 40 or so years.
