Veterans Memorial Park is in the shape of a triangle; this memorial is at the east tip. There are two distinctly different monuments here, a large memorial (set by Reeves County) in black marble and a smaller light grey granite monument (set by the City of Pecos). Additional exhibits in the park include a static jet and a bell.

 Description of Memorial: The Reeves Cuonty memorial is black marble, with two ctall monuments bearing the names of veterans, a cross piece with the Seals of the Armed Services, and a separate monument with the text above. Flagpoles behind the monument fly the flags of the USA, Texas, and the Armed Services.
The City of Pecos Memorial has the second half of the text given above, and also bears the Seals of the Armed Services.
