On the corner of the Victoria hotel in Klaipeda is a stone plaque with the logo of Rotary International, saying (in Lithuanian language):

This building was home to Klaipeda's first Rotary Club in 1938-1939

According to this PDF file: "Klaipeda was inaugurated on April 25, 1938, had its charter terminated on June 16, 1939."
