The Village Tavern is a traditional pub located on High Street on the corner with Lily Street in Wolstanton.

The Village Tavern has a hanging pub sign with a traditional painting style picture that depicts a village scene. In the foreground there are brown and white cows walking down a country lane edged with bushes and trees. Houses and a church can be seen in the centre of the picture with hills in the far distance.
The name of the pub inscribed in white lettering is located underneath the illustration.

This is a small single roomed pub with the bar in the middle, to the left of the entrance and a quiet raised area with bookshelves.

There is a dart board and TV screens that show live sports.

Quiz nights are held every Wednesday.

A smoking shelter is located to the rear of the building.
