This penny smasher is located in the entrance lobby of the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame in Mooresville, North Carolina. Mooresville very proudly proclaims it’s self a “Race City U.S.A.” as many of the NASCAR Race Teams are either located in Mooresville or nearby. The Hall of Fame is located in the Lakeside Industrial Park, which is also home to many NASCAR Race teams, including Roush-Fenway Racing, Penski South and Rusty Wallace Racing.

The North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame Museum features a number of actual race cars from NASCAR, NHRA, and other forms of motor sports, including those of the Late Alan Kulwicki, Curtis Turner, Joe Weatherly and Fireball Roberts. The Hall of Fame has inducted such motor sports legends as Richard Petty, Junior Johnson, William H. G. “Big Bill” France, and Dale Earnhardt.
