The very thick wooden slabs (one for the backrest, and two for the seat) are supported by concrete shaped pillars embedded in the soil next to the Lord of the Rings Arch in the natural setting of Rivendell. An anodised shaped rectangular plaque is embedded in the backrest, with the following etched inscription:
