The existing schoolhouse replaces the original built on the same site in 1883 that burnt down in 1918.
There's a short driveway and gate with flagpole atop the stone gate post on the right hand side. On the right is the schoolroom with large windows on the north, tennis courts side. A lean-to on the south side of the classroom contains the cloakroom and 'kitchen' hot water 'Zip' and basin.
Other buildings around the courtyard include a toilet block and the original stables repurposed as a bike shed and a garage/storage shed.
The date of the school's closure is unknown, but newspapers continued advertising school fund-raising Dances in 1945.
