Lovelace Park is a large park along Gross Point Road just north of Central Street. This park has tennis courts, parking, restrooms (seemingly only open during the summer), a lake, a nature trail, and a soccer field. Apparently, the park can be quite busy due to athletic programs, so don't be surprised if there's a lot of people there.
The playgrounds are nice - they are two separated by a short distance. Both have slides, and there are swings, a little train-thing, some twirly things, and plenty of places for people to run around and climb about.
