"The Celebrated Virgin
It was in 1869, as indicated on the pediment (MDCCCLXIX), that the chapel was built, probably on the foundations of an older chapel, located on the path leading to the Abbey of Valloires. Its inauguration took place on April 9, 1870. Until the 1950s, Marian masses were celebrated there, in particular on August 15, followed by a procession to the Virgin.

Architecture
In a neo-Gothic style, octagonal in shape, the chapel is made of flint and white local stone. Seven large ogival bays lighten the structure and highlight an altar surmounted by a crowned Virgin and Child.

The Stained Glass Windows
The stained glass windows represent scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary: the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, the Assumption.... They come from donations from wealthy individuals in the region, from Abbot Jacques Florimont Dumancelle, parish priest of Argoules (1805-1878) and from parishioners. The interior of the Chapel is illuminated every evening."

" La Vierge célébrée
C'est en 1869, comme indiqué sur le fronton (MDCCCLXIX), que fût construite la cahapelle, probablement sur des fondations d'une chapelle plus ancienne, située sur le chemin menant alors à l'Abbaye de Valloires. Son inauguration eut lieu le 9 avril 1870. Jusqu'aux années 1950, des messes mariales y étaient célébrées, en particulier le 15 août, suivies d'une procession à la vierge.

Architecture
Dans un style néogothique, de forme octogonale, la chapelle est en silex et pierre blanche de pays. Sept grandes baies en ogive allègent la structure et mettent en lumière un autel surmonté d'une Vierge couronnée à l'enfant.

Les Vitraux
Les vitraux représentent des scènes de vie de la Vierge Marie: l'Annonciation, la Nativité, la présentation de Jésus au Temple, l'Assomption.... Ils proviennent de dons de riches particuliers de la région, de l'Abbé Jacques Florimont Dumancelle curé d'Argoules (1805-1878) et des paroissiens. L'intérieur de la Chapelle est illuminé tous les soirs. "
