En el parque hay muchos limpiabotas, y esta estatua es un homenaje a su profesión. Lleva un pequeño taburete de madera a la espalda, que permite a los clientes presentar sus zapatos al limpiabotas.
Many shoe-shiners are present in the park, and this statue is a tribute to their profession. It carries a small wooden stool on its back, allowing customers to present their shoes to the shiner.
