"The immense evangelizing work of the Polish Redemptorists. From 1938 until March 1962, with the arrival of the Polish Redemptorist priests to Charata, the Church of San Miguel Arcángel de Las Breñas, is attended by priests of the Most Holy Redeemer. During those 23 years He was succeeded by the fathers Alfredo Müller, Ricardo Vetter, Tadeo Mitera, Estanislao Ciurey, Luis Stando, Eduardo Hryniewicki, Casimiro Kalemba, Wenceslao Pilarczyk, Estanislao Misiaszek, Mariano Kienarski and Casimiro Rutkowski “Casimirito”, as everyone called him to differentiate him from Kalemba who was a tall and strong man.

With his devotion to San Miguel Arcángel he built the church of Las Breñas. Divine providence meant that the request was heard and it was up to a priest of the Order of Saint Francis of Assisi to fulfill it.

In 1927, the Franciscan Wenceslao Espinosa, belonging to the province of Asunción del Río de la Plata, carried out his first mission in Las Breñas; He was born in Tucumán and joined the Missionary Police Station, affected by the province of San Miguel de Arcángel, which includes Santa Fe, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Chaco and Formosa; He missioned in northern San Martín, Santa Fe, and the Chaco, promoting the Secular Franciscan Order, also called the Third Order.
