This trailhead provides access to Barlow Point Trail 709, Old Government Trail 733, and Old Monte Cristo Townsite Trail. This is also an access point for Poodle Dog Pass-Silver Lake-Twin Lakes Trail #708 and Glacier Basin Trail 719 which access Henry M Jackson Wilderness via Old Monte Cristo Townsite Trail.
Parking is available both on the road and at a Forest Service trailhead parking lot near the end of the paved road. Restrooms are available here as well.

Directions:
From the Verlot Public Service Center (11 miles east of Granite Falls, WA), travel east on the Mt. Loop Highway 19.4 miles to the trailhead at Barlow Pass.
