The Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a weapons-free buffer zone between North and South Korea.
You can visit the area only with a tight and rule-bound bus tour.
Along the way in the zone, photography is strictly prohibited.
Photography is allowed only in some locations, where the bus stops, under conditions.
Bus tours are obviously only organized from South Korea and you only visit the South Korean part of the DMZ.
To my knowledge there are four points that you can visit as a tourist, keep in mind that you have to pass through a metal detector on location.
