Lindy Lee's sculpture Secret World of a Starlight Ember is on permanent display outside the Museum of Contemporary Art. As this location is on the other side of Circular Quay to the Sydney Opera House, why not take a peek to look though this frame.
A rather magnificent fig tree is also in the view but that is also an iconic view in Sydney,
The instillation by Lindy Lee shows the interplay between elemental forces. The installation’s central component is a suspended bronze sculpture, meticulously crafted to mimic the ethereal dance of fire and water. Inspired by the concept of alchemy, the sculpture symbolizes the transformative power of the universe.
At night, the sculpture is lit up from within and has a great visual impact on the forecourt of the gallery and the walkway around Circular Quay.
