While many know the main George Dickel distillery site, the secret location here is the actual location of the spring which feeds it. It is the location of the original distillery itself, which barely exist, with the exception of the spring and spring house. It is a protected site and there are warning signs in regards to tampering with the water.

The springhouse is a bit crude for photography's sake but alas, this is a sacred spring and federally protected.

Access to the site: Park at the gate across from the water tower on Cascade Hollow Road, walk up the gravel road until the spring house. It is a short walk and well worth the trip if one is a fan of whiskey.
