[ENG] Haczów is a village located in Poland, Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Brzozów County.
The name of the village comes from a simple colloquial substitution of the name Hans i Hoff meaning "John's farm". Perhaps the first founder of this village, founded under Magdeburg law. In 1388 and 1425 the name of the village was written Haczow, then in 1400 - Hoczew.

Nazwa wsi pochodzi od prostej potocznej substytualizacji imienia Hans i Hoff oznaczajacej „gospodarstwo Jana”. Byc moze pierwszego zasadzcy tej wsi lokowanej na prawie magdeburskim. W 1388 i 1425 nazwa wsi zapisywana byla Haczow, nastepnie w 1400 – Hoczew.
