"La Filial Lujan invitada por autoridades municipales estuvo presente ya que es protectora de este espacio juntamente con la comunidad Irlandesa de Lujan.
Se encontraban presentes el Intendente Municipal.
Luego de la presentaciones el Sr Terren explico las actividades que realizo la filial en esta plaza durante más de 20 años conmemorando: Hundimiento del ARA Gral. Belgrano, Nacimiento del Alta. Brown, aniversario de la filial, como así también la donación de un mástil Naval que se encuentra allí emplazado, rejas protegiendo el busto del Alte Brown y un cañón antiaéreo Naval que también luce en el lugar.
Resalto también la Figura de nuestro héroe de la patria en los mares ya que la filial Lujan desde hace años se encuentra realizando una campaña en los colegios entregando cuadros de su imagen junto a una breve reseña de su actuación naval en defensa de nuestra soberanía. Finalmente agradeció al Sr Intendente la puesta en valor de este espacio colocando iluminaria leds nueva como así también renovación de pintura en rejas, mástil y cañón, colación de bancos nuevos y veredas.
Seguidamente el Intendente agradeció a la filial en trabajo y mantener vivo a nuestro Alte Brown y también el resalto sus actuaciones con una breve reseña de su vida. Agradeció también a empleados y funcionarios municipales que hicieron posible este mejoramiento como así también los otros monumentos y plazas locales que se están también poniendo en valor.
Finalmente El Pte. de la filial Terren, junto al Intendente Boto y al Concejal Siror y Sec. Sarraceno procedieron a descubrir el nuevo cartel de la plaza “República de Irlanda”.

Dedicated to the Irish immigrants who came to Argentina, and in particular to Luján, it includes a monument to the hero of the war of independence and one of the first Irish in the country, Admiral Guillermo Brown.
"The Lujan Branch, invited by municipal authorities, was present since it is the protector of this space together with the Irish community of Lujan.
The Municipal Mayor was present.
After the presentations, Mr. Terren explained the activities carried out by the subsidiary in this plaza for more than 20 years, commemorating: Sinking of the ARA Gral. Belgrano, Birth of the Alta. Brown, anniversary of the subsidiary, as well as the donation of a Naval mast that is located there, bars protecting the bust of Alte Brown and a Naval anti-aircraft cannon that also shines in the place.
I also highlight the Figure of our hero of the country in the seas since the Lujan subsidiary has been carrying out a campaign in schools for years, delivering paintings of his image along with a brief review of his naval performance in defense of our sovereignty. Finally, he thanked the Mayor for enhancing this space by installing new LED lighting as well as renewing the paint on the railings, mast and cannon, and installing new benches and sidewalks.
Next, the Mayor thanked the branch for working and keeping our Alte Brown alive and also highlighted his actions with a brief review of his life. He also thanked municipal employees and officials who made this improvement possible, as well as the other monuments and local squares that are also being valued.
Finally, the President of the Terren branch, together with Mayor Boto and Councilor Siror and Sec. Sarraceno, proceeded to unveil the new sign in the “Republic of Ireland” square.
