TV Gazeta was launched as Channel 11 on January 25, 1970. It's always tried to identify itself as Sao Paulo state oriented with it's program.
In 1997 the station changed it's tranmitters, and the VHF channels were able to reach the greater metroploitan Sao Paulo area. The UHF signal was able to read the region of Vale do Paraíba and cities like São Carlos, Sorocaba, Rio Claro, Limeira, Americana, Bragança Paulista, and Araras.
The building of the studio is also shared by the AM and FM radio stations of Gazeta

Programming:
A lot of women oriented show's like PRA VOCÊ ("For You" - a morning show for women featuring music, cooking and stories)TV CULINÁRIA (Cooking TV - A 45 min cooking show) and MULHERES (Women - A show like Pra Voce, but in the afternoon)
At night is a few hours of religious programing and the late night show TODO SEU (All Yours - A show that's mix of interview and cooking as well as stories directed towards men.)
Favorite Show/Personality: The only show I watch is the cooking one.
