Although Bhairavanath Temple is not located in Bhaktapur durbar (main center) it's nevertheless impressive and its own square is very attractive.

There is plenty to see and feel in Taumadhi Square, the location of this temple. Well, there is a second hindu temple there, as well as other historical buildings and a lot of local life.

It's also known as the Kasi Biswonath or the Pantali mandir. It's dedicated to the god Bhairav who is an incarnation of Shiva and the god of terror and infinite space.
