"Ruins of St. Peter's Church
Ruins of the Church of San PedroThe Church of San Pedro is located in what was the Medieval Media Villa de Arriba. It is the oldest preserved building, dating back to the 12th century, so it predates the Church of Santa María de la Asunción in Castro Urdiales.

This small Romanesque church has a rectangular plan with a semicircular presbytery. It is made of masonry with ashlars in the corners.

Part of the foundations, the apse, the walls, a pointed arch door and a window with semicircular arches are preserved. The election of the members of the Council was held in the old church of San Pedro.

It is part of the Historical Complex of Castro Urdiales."
