The sundial is near the center of Pella's Central Park, within view of the tall Tulip Toren (tower).

The sundial was a gift to the Pella community from Heritage Lace, Inc., and was installed just prior to Tulip Time in May, 1991. Central Park can be accessed by Main, Broadway, Franklin, and Washington Streets, with parking on all four sides.
