The monument to Holy Week in Arcense was completed in 2008 and is displayed on Corredera Street.

It was made of stone and wrought iron by local artists Félix Zapata and Domingo Oliver, and the shields of all the brotherhoods are represented on its pedestal.

"Holy Week enjoys a great tradition and devotion in Arcos de la Frontera, the people of Arcos have been celebrating it for more than four centuries and their buildings show part of this legacy due to the works of charity and hospitality that were carried out in the town. For these and other reasons there is a monument to Holy Week. It is located at the beginning of the historic center and shows three Nazarenes in procession with a semicircular arch behind them."

"The Nazarenes are the brothers of a brotherhood who do the penitence season during Spanish Holy Week.
The name "Nazarene" is given to them because it is the name of the town of Galilee, current Israel, where Jesus spent most of his life, according to the canon of the Bible."
