Cascais Airport (also known as Tires Airport, Portuguese Aeródromo Municipal de Cascais or Aeródromo de Tires, ICAO code: LPCS) is a Portuguese airfield near the town of Cascais in the village of Tires in the municipality of São Domingos de Rana, as well as in the neighborhood of the city of Lisbon. It is approximately six kilometers from the Cascais train station and 19 km from Praça do Comércio in the center of Lisbon.
There are currently no regular scheduled flights at Cascais Airport, although it is close to the city of Lisbon and is also connected to it via the A5 highway (Cascais-Lisbon). There is a terminal at the airfield, which is designed for 300 passengers per hour[1]. A number of private and sports aircraft use the airfield as an alternative landing site for Lisbon-Portela Airport.
