Pequeña torre campanario a la izquierda de la iglesia, con entrada independiente y al estar pintada de rojo parece un añadido a la iglesia.

"El oratorio de los Disciplinati, también conocido como iglesia de la Confraternita dell'Assunta , se encuentra en Riomaggiore en Via Colombo, en el barrio "La Compagnia". El monumento es admirado por todos los turistas, estando ubicado a lo largo de la calle principal que desciende hacia el mar.

Data del siglo XVI , es una construcción sencilla, con fachada a dos aguas enlucida de blanco y delimitada por dos pilastras laterales, portada de arenisca rematada por una hornacina y ventana circular bajo el tímpano. A la izquierda del portal hay una placa de mármol con la fecha 1476, que atestigua las indulgencias concedidas por el Papa Gregorio XIII a la hermandad.

El interior, decorado en estilo barroco , conserva en el altar mayor, separado del resto de la sala por una balaustrada de mármol, un tríptico al temple que representa una "Madonna con el Niño entre los santos Juan y Domingo" de la segunda mitad del siglo XV. A la izquierda del altar, la estatua de madera llamada "Madonna de las Cadenas", en recuerdo de los peligros piratas, cuando era común que los lugareños fueran secuestrados y encadenados, pero apoyados en la pared derecha, se encuentran unos faroles procesionales. Por
último, el campanario, enlucido de color rojo claro, se alza a la izquierda de la iglesia."

Small bell tower to the left of the church, with a separate entrance and being painted red, it seems like an addition to the church.

"The Oratory of the Disciplinati, also known as the Church of the Confraternita dell'Assunta, is located in Riomaggiore on Via Colombo, in the "La Compagnia" neighborhood. The monument is admired by all tourists, being located along the main street that descends towards the sea.

Dating from the 16th century, it is a simple construction, with a gabled façade plastered in white and delimited by two lateral pilasters, a sandstone doorway topped by a niche and a circular window under the tympanum. To the left of the portal there is a marble plaque with the date 1476, which attests to the indulgences granted by Pope Gregory XIII to the brotherhood.

The interior, decorated in Baroque style, preserves on the main altar, separated from the rest of the room by a marble balustrade, a tempera triptych representing a "Madonna with Child between Saints John and Dominic" from the second half of the XV century. To the left of the altar, the wooden statue called "Madonna of the Chains", in memory of the pirate dangers, when it was common for locals to be kidnapped and chained, but leaning on the right wall, there are some processional lanterns. By Lastly, the bell tower, plastered in light red, rises to the left of the church."
