"Pedra Furada es un geomonumento clasificado como bien de interés público ubicado junto a la estación de tren Setúbal-Mar , en Estrada da Graça, en Setúbal .

Consiste en una roca de arenisca ferraginosa atravesada por varios tubos verticales huecos llenos de arena ligera y suelta. Se estima que tiene entre dos y cuatro millones de años. Tiene 18 metros de alto por 12 metros de largo, y está orientado de norte a sur.

Único a nivel nacional, europeo y mundial, fue descrito por primera vez por el barón de Eschwege en 1831, y aparece en leyendas y creencias populares de la zona."

"Pedra Furada is a geomonument classified as an asset of public interest located next to the Setúbal-Mar train station, on Estrada da Graça, in Setúbal.

It consists of a ferraginous sandstone rock crossed by several vertical hollow tubes filled with light, loose sand. It is estimated to be between two and four million years old. It is 18 meters high by 12 meters long, and is oriented from north to south.

Unique at a national, European and world level, it was first described by the Baron of Eschwege in 1831, and appears in legends and popular beliefs of the area."
