Old cannon is located at the entrance to Örebro Castle. It is a 8.4 cm cannon of the Krupp model manufactured by Bofors in 1889. It has serial number 200 and weighs 450 kg.

Bofors was a Swedish industrial company and arms manufacturer that was established as an ironworks in 1646. Bofors began manufacturing cannons in 1883.

Örebro Castle in baroque style from 1364 is located on an islet in Svartån in Örebro. The castle is rectangular with extended circular towers in the corners. The castle has been restored several times over time and is today owned by the Swedish state. It now functions as a museum and with conference rooms.
