The former Avondale Train Station is located in Avondale, Newfoundland and is home to the Avondale Railway Museum. The station is a designated historic place. Built circa 1870-1880 the station originally served as a repeater station for a telegraph line serving St. John's with the Anglo-Newfoundland Telegraph Company.

The station was an important stop on the railway system, serving the branches to Conception By and Placentia Bay. The system was taken over by the Canadian National Railways in 1949 and this section of the railway was abandoned in 1984. The entire Newfoundland Railway was closed in 1988.

Today the station thrives as a museum with multiple cars, a caboose, snow plow and locomotive on display as well as the Avondale Express, a miniature train which rides on what could be the last remaining rails in Newfoundland.
