This Anchor is located on a historical boardwalk the goes from the Blundon House to the harbour in Bay de Verde, Newfoundland. The anchor is in front of a sign noting a terrible gale that struck in 1927 sinking many boats. It's possible this anchor came from one of these boats but that's unconfirmed.
