"Iglesia románica de la segunda mitad del siglo XI modificada posteriormente. Consta de dos naves cubiertas con bóvedas de cañón ligeramente apuntadas y de dos ábsides semicirculares sobrealzados, enfoscados exteriormente y con lesenas y arcos ciegos a media altura el central; en la nave mayor la bóveda se encuentra reforzada por tres arcos torales y dividida en cuatro tramos, en la nave de mediodía los arcos torales son dos y está dividida en tres tramos. Algunas impostas del interior presentan incisiones con figuras geométricas muy simples. El frontis tiene un portal rectangular renacentista con unas gradas frente a él; hay un óculo a media altura sobre una hornacina. En el muro de mediodía hay una antigua puerta románica dentro de un pequeño atrio.
Dimensiones: la longitud y la anchura de la nave mayor mide, respectivamente, 19'80 x 6'00 metros; la anchura de las dos naves alcanza los 12 metros y la anchura total contada desde el fondo de las capillas laterales mide 20'50.
Guarda una imagen gótica de alabastro de la Virgen de Cabrera.
Campanario con un primer alto cuerpo románico de planta casi cuadrada (6'00 x 5'50 m) construido con muros de pequeños sillares medio cubiertos por un enlucido; encima, de paramentos de sillares medios bien escuadrados, figura la celda de construcción posterior al románico; tiene abiertas dos ventanas de arco de medio punto en cada cara; cuelga alguna campana; tiene una moldura sencilla a su debajo y está coronada por una exigua cornisa con gárgolas en los ángulos y una azotea con barandilla de almenas escalonadas; encima está levantada una aguja piramidal. Una torre semicilíndrica que llega hasta la base de la celda se encuentra adosada a los muros en el ángulo que forma la cara de poniente del campanario con el muro de tramontana toda ella de sillares bien escuadrados.
Situación: adosado y apoyado en el centro del muro de tramontana.
