This MIG 17 is one of the few aircraft on display in the outdoors section of the National Military Museum in Cairo, capital city of Egypt. It's not so well maintained. It was dully repainted. There is a detailed label in English with the technical data, mentioning it entered service in Egypt in 1955 and it was used in two wars, the Six Days War (1967) the Yom Kippur War (1973) against Israel.
