The Kent sign is made up of large concrete letters on a concrete base, backed by metal poles with decorative flags which are switched out at different times of the year. The sign is illuminated at night. In addition to being a city sign, it also marks the entrance to the golf course.
There is no off-road parking beside the sign. Park at the Green River Trail gravel parking lot off Frager Road S (47.378526623925396, -122.26949286593045) and walk from there. Vehicular traffic can get busy, especially around rush hour, so use caution.
