EN: The St. Blasien District Museum is located in the "Haus des Gastes" on the western edge of the former monastery grounds.

The museum covers the history of St. Blasien and the surrounding area. Of course, the history of the famous former Benedictine monastery forms the main part of the exhibitions, but early industrialization, the role as health resort and rural life in the past are also important topics.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 14:30 - 17:00. Admission costs €2.50 without concessions.

The town's tourist office is also located on the first floor of this building.

DE: Das Kreismuseum St. Blasien befindet sich im "Haus des Gastes" am Westrand des ehemaligen Klosterareals.

Das Museum behandelt die Geschicht von St. Blasien und der näheren Umgebung. Natürlich liefert die Geschichte des berühmten ehemaligen Benediktinerklosters den Hauptbestandteil der Ausstellungen, aber auch die frühe Industrialisierung, das Kurwesen und das ländliche Leben in der Vergangenheit sind wichtige Themen.

Das Museum ist Dienstag bis Sonntag von 14:30 – 17:00 Uhr geöffnet. Der Eintritt kostet 2.50€ ohne Ermässigung.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich auch das Tourismusbüro des Orts.
