The Grand Canal (Canal Grande in Italian) is the main maritime artery that runs through Venice, Italy. It is the largest and most important of all the canals of Venice. Its four kilometers long divides the city of Venice in two.
At the Venetian Resort, the replica Grand Canal allows for gondola rides with singing gondoliers, an activity as popular in Las Vegas as it is in Venice.
Visitors have the choice of an indoor or outdoor gondola ride. The outdoor ride operates on a seasonal and weather permitting basis.
