This griffin is part of a memorial dedicated to the fallen warriors who served the Southern European Task Force (ABN) (SETAF). The griffin is holding a sword above a book with PAX on the cover (PAX is Latin for peace) upon a 1 meter tall stone with the fallen inscribed on it. On the south side of the monument is a plaque with the names of the donors who made this memorial possible.
