This park and playground adds some much-needed green space to this part of the Banff townsite.

The Rotary Club of Banff was established in 1924.

In 1978, Rotary Park was created in the 500 block of Banff Avenue, between Badger Street and Cougar Street, to be a community area and playground. Fundraising began in 2021 to update the playground once more, and make it more inclusive. A combination sport court (pickleball, basketball, tennis) & outdoor ice rink is also planned.

Park maintenance is done by the Town of Banff.
