Esta plaza, llamada Plaza de Cruz debido a que en el centro hay una Cruz, que, aunque ya ha sido reformada, la cruz de hierro sigue perdurando en el tiempo, se cambió la columna que la sostenia e incluso el pedestal, que era de piedra también.
El plástico amarillo que se ve en la foto es solo una reivindicación política y como protesta forraron con plásticos amarillos mucho mobiliario urbano del municipio.
