It has come up as to why I have waymarked these various webcams - the answer is to promote phooning! In 1980, a man named John E. Darrow struck a particular pose for a handful of that summer's family vacation photos. He nicknamed it the "Phoon" (pronounced "foon"). "Phoon" was a made-up word that just sounded funny to him. It had no connection to any other word.
Since then, people from around the world send in
Phoon pictures from their home towns and their travels and submitted them to his website www.phoons.com.
The University of Central Florida was originally named Florida Technological University when it was established in 1963 as part of the state university system.

This webcam is located in the atrium of the Student Union Building in front of the Information Desk. They may think you're crazy when you pose, but believe me, they have seen this all before!
