Antigua capilla de la zona conocida como casas de Bonares en Mazagon.
Actualmente esta cerrada por la falta de clero.
Es una capilla sin nada reseñable de interés. Junto a ella hay un espacio al aire libre donde se celebraban los cultos cuando no habia espacio en la capilla. También tiene vivienda para el sacerdote.
Ermita situada en un lugar privilegiado. Es modesta, pero con un amplio patio.
En verano celebran misas los domingos y también hay reuniones de vecino,asi como las Romerias, una fiesta católica que consiste en un viaje o peregrinación (en carros engalanados, carrozas, a caballo o a pie) que se dirige al santuario o ermita de una virgen o un santo patrón del lugar, situado normalmente en un paraje campestre o de montaña. Las romerías se remontan a la más remota antigüedad. Los judíos se reunían o iban en peregrinación al lugar en que se hallaba el tabernáculo. Desde el tercer siglo de nuestra era, los cristianos participaron en romerías para visitar los sepulcros de los mártires.
Podemos considerar deacuerdo a su trayectoria que la Ermita es Catolica apostolica Romana, Antigua y con La conmemoración de la Virgen del Carmen.
Con una pequeña y sencilla espadaña es una estructura mural que se prolonga verticalmente, sobresaliendo del resto de la edificación, y suele acabar en un pináculo, con una campana, que según se puede ver y escuchar esta en uso, según algunos vecimos del lugar.
