La característica de este puente situado a lo largo del Rio dei Vetrai en Murano es la columna que encontrarás colocada a sus pies. Este es uno de los tres puentes que cruza Rio dei Vetrai, el del medio y por tanto el más utilizado. No es casualidad que se llame Ponte di Mezo (puente del medio). Desde aquí se puede ver todo el río, pero sobre todo la columna cuyo significado casi nadie conoce.

Nadie te mencionará esto entre las cosas que ver en Murano, pero es algo muy característico de la isla. La columna de Bando se encuentra junto al Ponte de Mezo. Su nombre se debe a que aquí se adjuntaban las ordenanzas procedentes de Venecia y dictadas por el Dux.

Puedes reconocer la columna del Bando di Murano por la estatua del León de San Marco colocada en la parte superior, y es una de las cosas inusuales que ver en Venecia.
