"En 1923, tras una suscripción ciudadana, se encomendó a Napoleone Martinuzzi la tarea de erigir un monumento a los caídos que fue inaugurado en 1927.

Pequeño claustro de planta cuadrada de ladrillo con remates de carpintería revestidos con losas de piedra. El frente tiene tres arcos de los cuales, el más exterior a la derecha, conecta la obra con el edificio cercano. Los otros dos lados tienen cinco arcos. Siete altos relieves en piedra de Istria decoran cinco pilares, cuatro en el frente y uno en el lado izquierdo. Internamente, dentro de un gran vano revestido de mármol, se encuentra un grupo escultórico y, a los lados de este, dos altos relieves. La parte superior del claustro tiene cubierta de tejas."

El monumento recuerda a muchos jóvenes que sacrificaron sus vidas por la paz y la libertad de nuestro país con motivo de la Primera Guerra Mundial.

de Istria.

"In 1923, after a citizen subscription, Napoleone Martinuzzi was entrusted with the task of erecting a monument to the fallen, which was inaugurated in 1927.

Small cloister with a square brick floor plan with carpentry finishes covered with stone slabs. The front has three arches of which, the outermost one on the right, connects the work with the nearby building. The other two sides have five arches. Seven high reliefs in Istrian stone decorate five pillars, four in front and one on the left side. Internally, within a large opening covered with marble, there is a sculptural group and, on the sides of it, two high reliefs. The upper part of the cloister has a tile roof."
